NATURAL SCIENCE UNIT 1 part 1

El viernes tenemos control de la unidad 1 de Natural Science. Os dejo un resumen de lo más importante. Have fun!

THE FIVE SENSES

• With my eyes I can see: 

          - colours 

          - shapes (round, square, triangular and rectangular)  

• With my nose  I can smell:

       - things that can smell good    

        

                         or

          - bad .

• With my ears  I can hear: 

      - loud sounds 

               or

      - quiet sounds .

• With my tongue  I can taste:

      - sweet     


      - salty      


     - sour      




    - bitter    

• With my hands   I can touch:

       - soft   

  

                             or

       - hard  

SOCIAL SCIENCE UNIT 1 REVIEW

Como ya sabréis, el lunes tenemos el primer control de Social Science. Hoy hemos estado repasando en clase y se han llevado los libros para repasar en el fin de semana. Os dejo un pequeño resumen para que os resulte más fácil el repaso, y además podéis visitar las entradas anteriores.

• REVOLUTION: Is the movement of the planets around the Sun

• There are 8 planets in our Solar System: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. 

• The Earth takes 365 days (1 year) to complete its revolution around the Sun.

• The Earth is always rotating on its axis (gira sobre sí misma). It takes the Earth 24 hours to complete its rotation and this is why we have day and night.

• There are: 
•  24 hours in a day.
• 4 parts in a day (morning, afternoon, evening and night).
• 60 minutes in an hour.
• 4 seasons in a year.
• 12 months in a year.
