NATURAL SCIENCE UNIT 2- HOW MY BODY MOVES

Hi everyone!

Estamos a punto de terminar el tema de Natural Science, y aprovecho para dejaros un resumen y unos juegos para repasar en este fin de semana largo.

  • My body has 3 parts: HEAD, TORSO and LIMBS
  • My UPPER LIMBS (extremidades superiores) are my ARMS
  • My LOWER LIMBS (extremidades inferiores) are my LEGS

  • I can move because I have JOINTS (articulaciones): shoulder (hombro), elbow (codo), wrist (muñeca), hip (cadera), knee (rodilla), ankle (tobillo), neck (cuello), jaw (mandíbula).

  • My skeleton supports my body. It has many bones. All our bones are connected. Our skeleton protects our organs such as our brain, our heart and our lungs.

  • Muscles help move our bones. All our muscles are connected to our bones. Muscles work in pairs to pull the bones.

Hi everyone!

Os cuelgo la canción que vamos a cantar y bailar en el festival de Navidad y os animo a que practiquéis en casa. Nuestra versión es un poco más corta. Os dejo también la letra :)

You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why

Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town

He's making a list
And checking it twice
He's gonna find out
Who's naughty or nice

Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

Oh! You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why

Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town

Santa Claus is coming
Santa Claus is coming

Santa Claus is coming...

He's coming to town!

NATURAL SCIENCE UNIT 1 part 2

RESPIRATION:

Our body needs oxygen.

Oxygen is a gas.

We breathe oxygen into our lungs.

CIRCULATION:

The heart pumps oxygen to the rest of the body.

DIGESTION:

We chew the food with our teeth.

We taste the food with our tongue.

The food goes to our stomach where the juices break it down.

The food goes to the small intestine and the body absorbs the nutrients it needs.

The things we don't need go through to the large intestine and then... we go to the bathroom!
